Appearance: As with is partner, Green Opal, the packaging is very clean and attractive. Bright and inviting.

Louche: Very nice, opalescent louche. A bit thinner than the verte, but not by much.

Aroma: Minty! Calamus is redolent, pairing nicely with the alpine aromas of wormwood, fennel and anise.

Flavor/Mouthfeel: Nice and smooth. The mintiness of the wormwood. Similar to a Swiss Le Bleue, but with a unique twist. Great flavors from the absinthe basics, but the twist comes in with the tannic citrus flavor of lemongrass and the sweet floweriness of chamomile. Slight numbing sensation.

Finish: Incredibly refreshing. Slightly astringent, but not bitter. Enjoyable.

Overall: One of the better blanche style absinthes out there. Traditional enough to satisfy any fan of Le Bleue style, but unique enough to satisfy those who might feel as though many Le Bleues taste too similar. Recommended.
