I like that it's light on the anise flavor, even if it's unusual. I think most absinthes have too much anise/fennel etc. Smooth inoffensive (slightly medical? eugenol?(I know, spelling)) flavor....
Appearance- Well, it's clear. Louche- Pretty good louche. Not *too* opaque and definitely not thin. Nice and cloudy. Aroma- Pretty strong anise. The anise is the main thing...
Appearance- Very clear, so for a blanche it seems exactly as it's supposed to. Louche- Really nice. Maybe a bit on the thin side but also a little more...
Appearance- A nice, light, slightly yellowish green. Louche- Thick louche, can't see through the glass. As it louches it's a good display. Aroma- Very...

The food last night was unbelievable. I still can't get over how good the bread was. My only complaint would be the absinthe service. If...
Beautiful peridot color pre-louche. It turns a thick olive color when water is added -- each drop of water sends white-ish plumes down into the absinthe, like the fog on...
Although this absinthe is listed under "retired brands," I purchased mine in November 2016 -- it's being sold in the tall, slim bottles. The color pre-louche is...

This is one of my favorite absinthes. It has a very different nose and flavor from many anise-heavy (if not anise-overloaded) absinthes of modern manufacture. Upon opening the bottle, the...

Appearance: slight peridot hue. Very light coloration, but bright and attractive. No visible sediment. Louche: crazy thick. Lots of action before it even reaches...
Appearance: clear, bright and natural. No visible sediment. Louche: milky and slightly opalescent. Attractive. Aroma: less anise aroma than its La Belle...
Appearance: clear, bright and natural. No visible sediment. Louche: quick and lovely. milky yet opalescent. Attractive. Aroma: redolent of wormwood with...
