What ya drinking tonight?

Recommended Posts

Good choice, Ash!

Currently drinking: Bell's Best Brown Ale. Not the best brown ale we've had; but it's certainly nice for the fall season.

Bloody Mary with Makers Mark. Umm, was skeptical when reading the recipe but it actually works. A sweeter version.

Still haven't tried that one yet, Abs. We typically don't like barrel-aged beers on account of the fact that the booziness of the bourbon or whisky tend to dominate over the beer (we're talking to you Backwoods Bastard!). The original Narwhal is very nice though (if a bit over-hopped for a RIS). Then, again, it's Sierra Nevada, so....

(we're talking to you Backwoods Bastard!).

What'd I do this time?

Have enjoyed some 1901 while sitting in the great state of Virginia, preparing to ride bicycles today down the mountain on the Virginia Creeper Trail. 34 miles on an old railroad bed turned bike trail. Crosses the Appalachian Trail several times with 27 wooden bridges over rivers and streams. I look forward to this trip every year. We'll see you on the other side.
