What ya drinking tonight?

Recommended Posts

Meadow of Love.

Ordered a bottle of Redux Absinthe (seems enticing). Still looking forward to trying the Jade Terminus and the Absinthe Bourgeois. We hear that new Jade is a doozy. :cheerz:

Oskar Blue's Pinner is a nice session IPA (better than Founders All Day IPA). The Easy Jack by Firestone Walker is even better though. :cheerz:

It was very easy drinking, for sure. Smells like grapefruit and mango.

My first foray into the IPA's, starting with the black Stone, and now this one. Baby steps.

Plus, availability in these parts......

but, the journey......

If you're looking to get into IPA's, look for the following:

1) Union Jack by Firestone Walker

2) Double Jack by Firestone Walker

3) Sculpin or Grapefruit Sculpin by Ballast Point

4) Two Hearted Ale by Bells

5) Celebration Ale* by Sierra Nevada (*Winter Seasonal Only)

6) Centennial IPA by Founders

7) 60 Minute IPA by DogfishHead

8) Resin by Sixpoint

9) Hop Stoopid by Lagunitas

10) Hopslam by Bells

11) West Coast IPA by Green Flash

12) Stone IPA by Stone

13) Torpedo by Sierra Nevada

14) Dale's Pale Ale or Deviant Dale's IPA by Oskar Blues

15) Titan IPA by Great Divide

Consider this an introductory map of readily available beers from us to you whilst you begin your IPA pint-taking pilgrimage.

Groovy. Will keep an eye peeled.

Where did that saying come from anyway? Can one actually peel an eye? And would it help you to see better?

Let's ask Luis Buñuel....

This morning will be a vat of black coffee. This evening I will polish off the last of the Redux. It's been sitting about 9 months now and yeah... I MIGHT share a glass if my wife asks very nicely. :cheerz:
