No question that this is not an absinthe for everyone. The base is quite pushy and it has a much more pronounced anise-bordering-upon-licorice flavour which is not typical of absinthes I enjoy - a real sweetness and a bit of strangeness as well. The louche on this thing is massive... This may be problematic for some... but I enjoy a nice thick louche so cannot complain.

Overall, I do enjoy this absinthe - but not all the time as it is a definite oddball.
