Finally, after 3 months of development, countless attempts at concentrated recipe development, we have succeeded in creating an absinthe that is worthy of paying homage to Cthulhu, one of the great elders from HP Lovecraft's fantasy epic.

Cthulhu is a handcrafted premium absinthe consisting of two phases, each specially distilled and then blended into one great whole.

On the one hand, Cthulhu Blanche Absinthe contains traditional absinthe ingredients, such as two different types of wormwood, fennel and anise. In addition, unusual, oriental herbs such as cardamom and coriander complement its exceptionally sweet and tart taste profile.

Appearance - clear and bright with a tinge of blue, no sediment
Louche - opalescent and attractive
Aroma - calamus, alpine roots, and juice fruit gum!
Flavor - alpine herbs, bracing and refreshing with a nice spiciness from the coriander.
Finish - delicate and recedes a bit too quickly
Overall - a really nice absinthe. As a blanche, it's suprising to see it at that high of an ABV, but that gives it a bit more flexibility with water ratios. Enjoyable, whether you're a Lovecraft fan or not.
