Combine in a mixing glass:
3/4 oz rye whiskey
3/4 oz sweet vermouth
3/4 oz Bénédictine
3 to 4 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
3 to 4 dashes absinthe
Fill glass with cracked ice and stir for 20-30 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass; garnish with a cherry.
