What ya drinking tonight?

Recommended Posts

St. Germain.

Daaaum this shit is real tastey. This is the panty-peeler absinthe wished it could be.

I've never even seen an elderflower, but what I do smell/taste is both red grapefruit & hops. My only critique and it is very minor, would be the sweetness, but being it is a liqueur it should be. I don't have the heart to mix it with anything. I just keep swishing it around. The aftertaste is very pleasant too.

Not the best news from the IRS today...thus, a couple of glasses of Lucid, and as usual, the last glass of the evening I reserve for Mr. Duplais, Balanced of course.

But still, lovely sleeping weather, and no one I knew in the Twin Cities was hurt in the bridge accident.

Holy crap, I just tried my first ever glass of Jade Verte Suisse. I have a new favorite, which isn't saying much when the only other two I've had so far is NO and the blanchette. But it seriously was so good to me it brought a smile to my face on the first sip, along with the shock oh it's wonderful taste. Man what a way to start a new day....

I didn't need a lot of complexity this evening. ;)

Arak Razzouk this evening!

no one I knew in the Twin Cities was hurt in the bridge accident.

Unfortunately, I know two people.

One person is ok.

The other is still missing.

I think we all know what that means.

A small party where I shared a bit of my stock with friends and personally indulged in:

1 Clandestine

2. Brevans

3. Eichelberger

4. Montmartre

5. Taboo

It's a wonder I can still type. Time for bed! :wheelchair:

Zman--- that sounds absoluetly fantastic.......! not too sweet?

My first thought was that it has to be, but with nine years of aging a lot of drying out would probably occur, and I'll bet it's delicious.

No stove, but I'll bet you have some crazy parties with sorority chicks right?!

Nope, I don't have a Stupid Spoiled Whore playset.

I was a Delta Zeta.

I will be burning more techno CDs for you, Peridot.

Sure, as long as I can sing "Cut You Up With a Linoleum Knife" to you.

And I'm sure my voice is a lot louder. :)

Yes, it was quite dry and the maple was just a hint. It was very delicious.

Ommegang Abbey Ale. Plus Poached Copper River Salmon with a small mountain of locally grown green beans. This is what fresh beans are supposed to be. I think I'll do the dishes and then have some absinthe.

I like doing dishes at dawn. So, for now, it looks like a nice glass of Capricieuse.

My oh my, it tastes as good as it smells. Yummy!

Best song ever!

I have never laughed so hard during a movie as I did during that scene.

Well damn I'm very sorry to hear that. Good to know one person is OK though. Still can't believe how that all happened.

Tonight it's my first taste of yet another Jade, Edouard. Then tomorrow I'll be hitting the PF 1901, then the night after Lucid.

Well so much for that, I dipped into the Lucid after my glass of Edouard. Lot's of things going on in lucid it seems. But to buzzed to think about it. Tastes good enough though, but right now Last nights Verte suisse and tonights Edouard are my favs hands down.

I bought the ticket, I'm taking the ride.

Wow. What another day.

I have a wonderful glass of absinthe. Cold and refreshing. It could be Lucid, Duplais, 1901 or any other of many choices. Lovely.

I hope I'm assuming correctly the Maple Mead came from Montana, Zman? It took three years before it became good and each year has improved it tremendously. I'm thinking a batch or two for my not-yet-conceived grandchildren would be an excellent gift. That's a thought.
