A couple small glasses of Montpellier, followed by a shitty belgian I'm trying to kill the keg of so I can have an excuse to brew again.

 

I burned the fucking wagon. Screw not drinking on week days.

Hiram, I am assuming you speak of the little red sampler that came with the Ike? I have yet to try it myself, so will be curious as to your take on it. Straight? "Prepared"?

 

If I read the label correctly, it says it is only 22%...

Earlier two Big Hole Headstrong Pale Ale's while doing way too much house cleaning. Now relaxing with a Agwa while T73 has enjoyed an Arak and now a Becherovka. He likes the Arak better.

 

Btw, we each drank 47 glasses of absinthe last night and are not responsible for anything we may have posted. Although, I stand by the gargling technique for isolating flavors.

I always said you'd pass out from drinking several glasses of absinthe before thujone might or might not have an effect but after 47 glasses! Something weird must have happened- :huh:

Just a Hair of the Dog Doggie Claws, last night.

 

I like the addition of wildflower honey to the 2005 recipe.

 

There's still that strong herbal hop character, but it's nicely smoothed out, and more full flavored.

Midterms are over..SPRING BREAK!!!

I stopped at Wildwood in San Angelo on the way home from school, and got a couple of beers that we haven't tried. Without further ado, THIS evening...

Young's Luxury double Stout, Young's Oatmeal Stout and Chimay's Bleu Grande Reserve. I'll let you know how it goes...directly. First the chocolate.
