Woodinville 100%rye whiskey

 

Wow!

Interesting. The only thing I can find myself to like from them is an old batch of their "American Whiskey," of which I'm not sure they produce any longer. Another local (to Seattle area anyway) rye that is worth checking out is from Skip Rock Distillers in Snohomish.

I will check that out.

I think i was just enjoying the rye and wood profile. Quite a step up from jack Daniels at around the same price. I wonder how a whiskey sour would taste using it.

I guess I'm still trying to find the boundaries of what I like and exploring what absinthe "can" be. And don't mind spending a bit of $$ to make that happen ;-)

Tieton Cidery Apricot cider. Lately I've been on a small-batch cider kick and I've found that I love everything they produce.

 

I like their Cherry and Hopped ciders.
