What ya drinking tonight?

Recommended Posts

Leopolds from a very old bottle. Maybe 4 years old. Got it the summer of the trial of George Zimmerman.

About 1/4 left. Just made a glass up. 4:1. Wow. Pure wormwood in aroma and palate. I like that. Nice and juicy.

I left it alone for awhile because it always tasted too grassy and fresh years back. Wow what the years have done to it.

Leopold Bros remains my favorite absinthe.

I've run out of the 1901 (my favorite of the Jade 4-pack I bought) so I'm drinking the Edouard tonight. No complaints. It's one of those absinthe that I prefer without sugar.

Might actually post legit reviews that I've been collating over the past week.

Tonight it'll be Bombay Sapphire East gin and Ginger Tree tonic water with elderflower.

Let the debates begin!

Sounds good.

However, I hear Florida will be entering the mid twentieth century soon, so try to stand firm against that vast wasteland when it arrives in your area.

Ditto from last night for me.

The sunny warm days are waning. I do love it out here regardless and nary a mosquito bite all year long.

It's an easy place to love. Well, if it works for you it is.

I've seen the culture shock break people in short order, and yet one of my best friends is from Florida. (and she's gone totally native)

For me, it's home and there's no getting me away from it.

I    the PNW.

The hardest thing for me is meeting new friends. All of my close friends and family are at least two timezones away. Plus, I work from home when not flying out for work and the flying out for work bit is practically non existent now (just twice this year) so human interaction can be minimal and at times feel totally isolated. I need some hobbies and to get out more.

wedding

Are you trying to turn the tables, and scare the creepy clown, Cap'n?

Some of the best relationships I've been witness to have been ruined by that four seven letter word.
