OMG_Bill Report post Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) I heard tell there was going to be a hangin' or something. The curiosity is barely tolerable. I'm just sampling a few CO's that have been lingering around the house. Cheers! Edited March 23, 2014 by OMG_Bill
Joe Legate Report post Posted March 23, 2014 Probably me. The way the tax organization is going, Julie and our accountant is going to be gunnin' for me. Sampled some chocolate mead earlier today. It wasn't bad, but not what the maker had in mind. Moved on to Ridge Blanche and now Pacifique this evening. Glad to be home after being on the road 38 of the last 49 days. Yay me! Next fun non work-related trip will be NM. Oh? First Joe and now now this cat. What the hell is going on? SRLRSY. I'm taking the long way to New Mexico via Calcutta. I have to pick up my new linen suit, doncha know. Workin' on taxes today...gonna need something stiff tonight.

Absomphe Report post Posted March 23, 2014 A sample of Sam Adams Utopias. The stuff is 20 years old now, and even at 27% abv, it seems a bit more mellow (and complex) than I remember their original Millennium being in 1999.

Songcatcher Report post Posted March 26, 2014 Ok, ok already. Jeez. Well, first off.... I'd just like to take a minute to thank all those that made this moment possible. I'd like to thank the Wormwood Society for the camaraderie and guidance it has given me over the years. I'd like to thank my wife for her patience and loving forgiveness for spending way more than I could afford on absinthe and absinthania. I'd also like to thank my paycheck for all the bottles and endless nights of debauchery, and without which none of this would have been possible. And last but certainly not least, I'd like to thank all of you, my fans. From the bottom of my heart, I love you all. Thank you and goodnight!

ripper911 Report post Posted March 27, 2014 (edited) After killing a bottle of James Oliver rye I went to the liquor store and asked them to recommend something good. I ended up with fernet-branca, not terrible, very complex. We got a bit sloshed to say the least. Edited March 27, 2014 by ripper911
