Brian Robinson Report post Posted August 15, 2013 The Bruery Provisions Series: Ichigo Highway. A sour red ale aged in Red Wine barrels with Strawberries. About as refreshing as a beer can get. Wonderful stuff. Aging has taken out what could only be described as a 'plasticky' type of flavor in my original bottle that I opened as soon as it came out. Now, it's sour, funky, and strawberry-ey. And just damned tasty.

Georges Meliès Report post Posted August 15, 2013 PF 1901, followed by a Cotes de Provence imported by a friend of mine. Not quite a rosé, not quite white, something in-between. Very unusual and very, very delicious.
MASTERPC Report post Posted August 15, 2013 Brian, getting that fake plastic-like pseudo-strawberry taste out is not an easy feat. At all. Will have to try and find that refresher. Lars, meant to congratulate you on the work dealio. Nicely done! It's Thursday and I get to fly home later, albeit through Chicago. Have a great day!

Georges Meliès Report post Posted August 18, 2013 Just opened a Marteau Master's Reserve that arrived today from Astor. WOW! This is seriously great absinthe. Kudos, Gwydion. I'm really impressed. I figure it will be better after it has a few days to settle down from shipping, but I couldn't resist the temptation to taste it tonight.
