Sam Adams Boston lager. Been ages since last I had some.

What a horrible and boring beer. Sorry if you like you some sam adams. I don't remember it tasting so bad.

Funny, I was just talking to a friend the other day and how much I used to love Sam Adams Boston lager when I was first getting into beer. I haven't had one in many years, but I remember a really beautiful hop aroma. I was thinking I needed to get some again. Maybe I'll just live with the memories

Made a Grand Street this evening. Silvertip gin, Leopold Bros. Maraschino, Cynar, and Punt e Mes. Wow, it was incredible. My wife thinks she doesn't like gin (I'm trying to fix that), and even she thought it was good.

I decided to see what happens when I mixed tequila, pomelo-cello, and vermouth.

A Silvertip martini. Yes, it's just fine. :)

A Silvertip just about anything is just fine.

What they said.

Arsenic and Old Lace, with Silvertip gin. It's just fine. The weather was just warm enough around here to remind me of summer.

You wait until the game is over to start drinking??

May I ask you which planet you're from, sir? :) ;)

I'm eyeballing a few bottles, but can't decide where to start.

What game, Hed?

Oh, you must be referring to that "March Madness" horse shit.

I realize this categorizes me as un-American, but I couldn't give less of a rat's arse about any college sport if I tried.

And, at the rate salaries have been escalating, I'm heading in the same direction regarding pro sports.

There's just something incredibly fucked up about alleged priorities in this country.

Btw, who says I waited?

Since I started the day by grabbing the wrong set of keys and had to call a locksmith...alphabetically seems a bit demanding, so I'll go with closest.

Pacifique.

Nope, I'm not watching it. I don't watch basketball either.

Just replaced the kitchen appliances in a house I plan on selling, and realized I had TWO full bottles of Pimm's.

Turns out, we actually have 1 and 7/8 bottles of Pimms in my house after all.

Good timing. Our house guest and I have been sipping pimms cups this evening on the back porch. Gorgeous weather.....not gorgeous scenery. <shrug>

Three so far but Precious will be home directly and I'm sure she'll need attention.

Good way to relax and keep it all in perspective.

Tuaca with a splash of lemonade. Refreshing.

Working on a glass of Solerno with ice.

After reading that MPC is having Tuaca, I'm wonder what the two blended might taste like... but I think there are better times to experiment as I've not been paying attention to much of anything today and I hate wasting tasty booze.

Hey I wasn't even sure how it would fair with a little lemonade added but it works, it works! I'd researched some recipes and I saw a couple of lemon infused ones but don't have all of the ingredients and just happened to have lemonade in the house from McAlister's Deli. Got a gallon.
