What ya drinking tonight?

God, I love Oregon weather!!

The forecast keeps rotating between rain, snow, the occasional sucker hole, and thunderstorms. And the wind can't decide which direction to blow from, so it's blowing from all directions. I get all this craziness for free... and it's the norm.

Time to pop open a bottle of hard cider and make some afternoon decaf.

Yep, and Bellingham weather is just as wild and wacky. It's blowing up a gale here for the umpteenth time this year, and it can't decide weather to rain or snow, so it's doing both, at varying intervals.

I was confused, so I decided to go with Bomb! as my libation du jour.

Love apple cider vinegar. Is that what you tried?

Try some saurkraut juice.

It was a joke. Albeit, coarse, adult humor, but just a joke.
I gotcha

Ridge verte. Yep a really old bottle.

It looks like a Blanche louched. And it's like wormwood extract now. Awesome.

Fortunately, I'm not dieting.

And from your past photos, I can't imagine you ever needing to do same, my tiny twin. :dev-cheers:

Bomb! today.

Fremont B-Bomb 2016 tonight but ordered Opal as well as Justifiee et Ancient and La Grenouille Absinthes today.

I'm with you on BCBS 2016. Was able to get 4 bottles and all are gone already. After last year's fiasco drank them early this year and as always they were excellent!

BCBS 2015.

If this is infected, it's only very slightly so, as I'm detecting an extremely subtle sour underpinning.

That being said, the body is luxurious (I've heard that the infected bottles taste thin-ish), and the flavor is intense, deep, dark chocolate, vanilla, caramel and smoke.

There's not as much dark fruit as in this year's, and it has a somewhat drier finish. Superb, overall.
