Anyone want to help with a kombucha idea?

Anyone ever use fennel in a tea or anything like that?
I'm thinking of adding some in with some kombucha.

That sounds like a wonderful idea.

 

Be sure to record what type of fennel seed you are using (florence vs. sweet, etc.) as that can be as big of a difference as saigon vs. cassia cinnamon.

I'm only two years too late, :) but I've made black tea kombucha and bottled (32 ounce) with a couple ounces of absinthe. The residual bacteria eats away most of the alcohol but leaves a delightful flavor behind.

The first half of your second sentence makes me shudder a bit, but otherwise, that sounds good. :biggrin:
