I hate to do this but I can't hold it anymore inside me:

I bought a collection of antique absinthe spoons from Roy Garay back in September 2012. I paid 3 600 ($5 000) but never received anything.

Roy was a known collector (MerdeVerte on the forums), a long-time customer of David and I (since 2006). We trusted him.

He said he shipped the spoons in 3 parcels but I received none of them. He said he never received the parcels back either.

I sent him a lot of emails, I even threatened him after a while, I even filled a Mail Fraud Complaint with U.S. Postal Inspection Service (never heard back from them).

Roy, if you read this, this story has really pissed me off, I tried everything with you, without success, it's about time to refund me!

Sorry for the disruption guys but I had to let it go.

That really sucks Marc!

I remember the guy from a long time ago.

He came out to a show in Houston. I think Jay and Damien were there.

I gave him an Absinthe sample.

Never heard from him after that.

I'm sorry I couldn't help out more, Marc.  This is terrible.  But it's good for the absinthe community to know we have what could be another version of JMFranc.

Well this sucks completely.  I'm so sorry you had this experience, Marc, and I hope it gets resolved some day.

I'm sorry I had to remove his personal information from your post because of liability issues on our end, but I certainly understand why you posted it.

I understand Gwydion.

I've been trying to get a reaction from him since late 2012, and in 2013. He doesn't care, not his fault. He has the money, I have nothing.

I'm very persevering, I will call his name until I get a reaction...

I'm very sorry to hear this, Marc, and I hope you receive your (way overdue) satisfaction, at some point.

It certainly proves that, sometimes, a screen name (Merde Verte) is quite apropos.

99.9% of folks are as good as gold but that 0.1% sucks enough for all of us.

I am sincerely sorry your trust was taken advantage of, Marc.

That is some really bad news, Marc

I hope it eventually works itself out for you. It hurts the most when it is from someone you thought you could trust.
