In 1914, the French wineries' campaign to smear and destroy absinthe was drawing to a successful conclusion. So it's interesting, 100 years on, to read this new report suggesting that the use of pesticides in the production of wine could be to blame for a drop in French men’s sperm count. Bad science? Maybe. Just like the absinthe ban. In any case, this report provides one more reason to enjoy absinthe today.

I like how the article mentions another study where men who drank three times a week had stronger sperm.
