I'm relatively new to absinthe... About a year now. Obtaining quality absinthe has been an excerise in learning. I also have a rather unpleasant autoimmune disease called Crohn's disease. Absinthe has given me a wonderful evening relief from the diseases symptoms. I have had few problems ordering absinthe. Only recently has there been a problem. I think there's a way around the that ( obtaining Vieux Pontarlier). But there a few others I rather enjoy.
Thanks and this is a great website

Catskull Cellars, Astor wine and spirits, DrinkUp New York all carry and ship the Vieux Pontarlier and other choice goodies.
Just check the main WS page for the vendors section.

And howdy.
The room it smelled heavy of drinkin',
and the sad silent song made the hour twice as long,
as I waited for that sun to go sinkin'.

Welcome!

If you don't like anise at all, you're not likely to care for any decent absinthe, as absinthe is an anise flavored drink. It's kind of like asking if there are any good beers that don't taste like hops or malt.----Hiram

Welcome to the Forum.

You're not the first person I've heard mention absinthe provides relief from Crohn's.  Take care and of course,

Welcome! One of the girls I'm seeing has Crohn's disease and it gives her all sorts of troubles :( I'm glad that absinthe has been able to give you some relief! I may introduce her to it(I kind of keep mine under lock and key) and see if it has the same effect for her.
