You all seem in a way, dumbass yourselves.
Mushrooms aren't hallucinogenic.
Alcohol is a drug.
I never said absinthe produced visions.
So is the absinthe effect a real mind altercation, or are we afraid to talk about that here?
The membership here has spent collective decades, quite a bit of money, blood (yes), sweat, tears, and plenty more in their pursuit of absinthe. If there are scholars in the world of absinthe, you've just met them, and insulting them won't get you very far. Plus, it's terrible Lesser Magic.
The absinthe mind effect is, and always was, false. There is more than enough scientific data and historical sources on the main website to verify this as well as other websites out there as well. It's really no more different than being drunk on tequila versus drunk on wine. Make no mistake, you're still drunk either way. Most people, unless they have an allergy to something, trick their minds to produce whatever kind of drunk they want. Humans have incredible mental powers but are prone to suggestion, especially from themselves (as any good magician knows). If you drink with a presumption, then expect bias to fulfill that prophecy, at least mentally.
We aren't afraid to talk about it here, hell we even have papers on the subject of chemical composition and such on the main website. We are just tired of answering the same drivel over and over again. The people of the WS have grown weary of tossing those pearls of their hard earned research out there, only for those facts to be ignored by swine.
I would reconsider your approach here and maybe pursue that scholarly aspect a bit more. It is the communication style that we are most familiar with here.
P.S. A spellchecker is your friend.
