Meet my St Clement Marabou Stork

Recommended Posts

My wife in particular has been after one of these since since she first laid eyes upon one. With the help of a very good friend, we were finally able to acquire one of the proper vintage (ca 1880-1900). It is in impeccable condition and is the absolute neatest thing I have ever seen, I think. I never realized quite how tall they were until it was in my case either. I need to rinse it out and put it to use one night soon. The hole in the beak is about the size of a Q-tip's shaft, maybe a hair bigger. It should make for a very nice drip.

Lovely pitcher, and in such wonderful condition!

Nice! I'm happy for you on your unique purchase. I bet you feel no egrets about it!

You'd better duck after a remark like that.
