Looks like there is hope for these folks, I've heard most distillers do not begin with amazing stuff, but constantly improve their craft to get there. Send them an invite to GAAF?

Considering this was available alongside Lucid's debut, I doubt it will get better if it has not already. Either those who purchase it are content with what they get or the distiller is not interested in opinions of their product. Guess it is not over till it's over though. It did see a price reduction though. Used to retail for $55, now $44.

I think I saw somewhere awhile ago that the distillery owner was looking to sell the distillery. That was about a year ago methinks.

If you don't like anise at all, you're not likely to care for any decent absinthe, as absinthe is an anise flavored drink. It's kind of like asking if there are any good beers that don't taste like hops or malt.----Hiram

I'm now rushing around madly, desperately trying to find a couple or three cases.*

*To drink straight out of the bottle under the Brooklyn Bridge which I now own in its entirety. :yahoo:

Yes, I'm Krinkles the Clown on an absinthe a beer bender.

You got a problem with that?

Lots of $$$,$$$.$$ and then I'd have to learn how to make stuff.

I'll just pay retail for now, thank you very much. ;)
Some folks may cringe each time I use the term "Booze" regarding these high quality drinks.
I mean no offense. There are bottles of extraordinary booze out there. I've tasted a few. Relax.
