Only 16 absinthes available at this new bar in Phnom Penh.

I haven't been to Phnom Penh for a few years, but I remember it as a crazy city. From the sound of this article, it just got a lot crazier.

I don't believe he burnt that.

I can understand the temptation of going through the absinthe menu when the average price per drink seems to be just over $4.

Looking on the bright side, if the writer drank all those he would not have been able to indulge in Phnom Penh's major vice of child prostitution.

True dat over there. One of the reporters I follow, is quite fond of SE Asia, and knowledgeable about SC Asia, and complains a lot about that.

Re SE Asia,

I did some searching about absinthe in the countries of the former French Colonies, not a whole lot of hits.

India, however, seems to have a market, particularly Goa.
