I managed to acquire chopped roman wormwood (mostly for making vermouth), but I'm not exactly sure it's indeed A.pontica. It looks, smells and tastes almost identical to chopped mugwort; is that normal? There's a slight difference in the aroma, but that still could be a different variant of A.vulgaris. It was so cheap that it wouldn't bother me if it was mugwort (I love its tea), but I'd still like to know.

It comes from a herb shop that ordered it from abroad suppliers and re-packaged it. I'm positive that they wouldn't have noticed if the supplier sent the wrong species.
