I think he was saying, everyone that needed to see it was baked.
Which is an accurate description of most of us.

I understand Alan's point but no matter what we did, we knew someone wouldn't like it.

So who wouldn't like it if Boggy's FB post is removed?

PTFA. ;)

Thank you. Looks like Joe was wrong this time.

Looks like there are still people out there that like to chew on stale vomit.

Hey, if that's what get's you through the day......bon appitit.

Choose whichever one you want because all three doors are rigged with explosives. And so is the floor you're standing on just in case you decide to do nothing.

True, that!

Don't worry Alan, I won't reveal your penchant for wearing little black evening gowns.

Funny you should say that ...

I knew it would go like this.

If you want to hate others for being different than you, for speaking different than you, for having opinions and views different than you, you can do that. But I don't think it reflects well on the WS...

I'm glad we're in agreement. That's a big part of why he's gone.

Let's straighten out this "free speech" thing.

There is a widespread, popular and FALSE notion that "free speech" means anyone can say anything to anyone else, anywhere, anytime, without fear of consequences. It doesn't.

Some also appear to believe that every individual has some sort of constitutional right of access anywhere they want to go, online or offline. They don't. This forum isn't public property, it's a privately owned by an unincorporated not-for-profit organization and we retain the right to decide with whom we associate.

Boggy's free speech has not been affected. He can still say what he wants on Facebook, Fee Verte, YouTube, and wherever else. I don't know what the laws regarding speech are in Poland, but they didn't change when WS banned him.

Yeah, that statement kind of confused me. If DP is implying that we are punishing Boggy just because he's different, not only is it offensive, but totally wrong. I mean, go through the list of active members here in the WS and show me more than a couple who are similar in any way other than their enjoyment of absinthe. We're all very different here.

Was Bogumil given a clear written warning? Was he given a chance to defend himself? Does he know what the charges are?

Double Secret Probation. ;)

I find Boggy both entertaining and annoying at the same time. I've always viewed him as harmless.

Most days there is a lot of junk mail when I get home, typically I ignore it and toss it in the recycle bin but occasionally I see something that is of interest and read. I view Boggy the same way. Some of his comments have turned into interesting threads, unfortunately for him most have not.

I'm surprised the harmony of this forum was allowed to be disrupted for so long.

Some folks may cringe each time I use the term "Booze" regarding these high quality drinks.
I mean no offense. There are bottles of extraordinary booze out there. I've tasted a few. Relax.

I don't think the harmony was disrupted at all. Some of us never could sing.

Think of it as a little necessary housecleaning.

I have this one, but I don't use it when I'm lounging on the couch.

The apple one is terrible. I originally had it, but it was so hard to pack, because the dock doesn't fold away or anything.

Doesn't that defeat one of the perks of having an iPad?

Thanks everyone for your participation and as much as possible, understanding. As we expected, some members heartily agree with our actions and a couple disagreed. We have acted as we believe is in the best interest of the Forum, our membership and especially, quality absinthe education. Please do not hesitate to contact any of the Advisory Board if you have additional comments.

We believe this thread has served it's purpose and perhaps has remained too long. When long gone or rarely posting members return to stir a cold pot, it's time to put it to bed.

Thank you for your support and understanding.
