Absinthe Articles in Local Dallas Rag

Recommended Posts

Articles on Absinthe graced our local rag "quick". Think daily paper condensed to fit the "entertainment tonight" demographic.

But the photo is pretty so I figured the folks on here would enjoy them.

Only negative is they espouse the evil fire technique.

The articles are at

P.S. The photos are all taken in the absinthe l o u n g e.

Nice pictures.

So, how exactly can you cite Feeverte.net and yet think that the fire ritual and the movies are correct? Is our understanding of movies and reality so tweaked that we trust movies over anything else?

Ok so they mention FV in the resources, do they not bother to check the resources before running the story? I mean really, who uses fire anyway? The normal pics are kind of cool.

Are they actually serving the Eddie at this place? I did not think a bar could do that. I am also curious as to what that clear bottle marked 'Absinthe Suisse" is...

Absinthe absinthe mosh pit in Dallas has the legal version of Absinthe,

which still contains wormwood, but ours is the non-European version.

Ask for our Absinthe specialty drinks, such as the Absintini, or the Good n’ Plenty.

Oh Kay.......................

It does appear she is lighting the Ed on fire.

Either they don't actually serve their real absinthe or they don't *wink wink* actually serve their real absinthe.

That line is marketing tweaked. Absente does have "wormwood" in it, but it's southern wormwood and not A.A.

One sunday night I am gathering a bunch of friends to go the the absinthe l o u n g e. They do Karaoke every sunday night. Something about absinthe fueled karaoke sounds really fun and really dangerous at the same time.

Except that they can't serve real absinthe. But I may bring a real bottle and see how much attention I get.

I am going to ask about the eduard in the photo. I would be stunned if they serve it.

Drunken Karaoke.... Is that redundamt?
