Wicked and lazy

Recommended Posts

I am a year old in Absinthe years.

Being an ouzo man I think may have been an advantage because I already like the anise and taste past the anise.

My first absinthe was Absinthe Supreme. Then came Pernod, La Fee Verte, then a nasty local drop called 'Green Fairy", Doubs (Gold Medal) then an amazing bottle called Moulin Rooz.

Since then I have been spoiling myself buy buying cases of the Rooz and Supreme, but I have decided to expand my horizons and my 25 sampler bottles from Germany arrive on Friday Drool.... Lucky it is a holiday weekend here :)

We don't get much absinthe in Australia but they seem to get here OK from Europe.

Anyway I will post my impressions here.

My order is

Capricieuse

Opaline

Hiya, Danny, and  to you!

Gawd! That list you presented would really be something for the coming Midsummers Eve holiday here... :dribble:

But I'll have to do ;) with Duplais Balance, Blanchette and probably also a small bottle of Mansinthe.
