Port of Barcelona Gin

Recommended Posts

According to B. Alex's twitter feed, Barcelona gin is no more.

So Baubs, stock up now. The last cases were sent to DUNY and California and were signed by the distiller. Get 'em while they last.

*note: his original post was made on April 1st, but there have been subsequent posts over the past few days, none of which mention an April Fool's joke.

Just about everyone I know who ever tried it liked it quite a bit, and out of some sick sense of irony I was just describing it to a friend of mine yesterday.

Perhaps some other gin distillers might consider doing a limited "Spanish Style" gin in the distant future.

Boo, this is sad. It's down from DUNY's site as far as I can tell, and I've yet to try it! Voyager made me see there are gins I like, so it's sad to see an artisanal one bite the dust.

Yeah, I never did feel a rush to buy it since I didn't get the impression it would just disappear. I hate when that happens.

I have a shopping cart already saved in my wish list for my next purchase, and I notice that the old tom gin I saved went unavailable. I was sad. Then it came right back. I was happy. I should just pull the trigger now to avoid any disappointment.
