I bought the book & LTV prior to joining this site (obviously). I bought the book because it was about Absinthe, & LTV as it was the one of the least expensive ones available at BevMo(when one's on a budget, one does what you have to do). I don't mind the taste all that much, but maybe that's because I haven't been able to try others yet?

Bingo. I predict that once you sample a few genuine absinthes, you won't be able to stomach the stuff anymore. Its mentholated eucalyptus flavor and bizarre artificial color are about as far away from the taste and look of real absinthe as you can get.

As the title of my LTV review states: Not bad, but not absinthe.

Speaking of LTV, they just sent me samples of their Absine Refreshers. Will give them a go once I get some more info from them about the product. *ahem*
