I'm sipping on VP and watching Dead Man. I've wanted to watch it for awhile and Songcatcher beat me to it. B)

Probably my favorite Jarmusch flick, that one.

Watched it recently while savoring some Besançon.

Enjoying it so far, I love westerns and Depp is a prettty versatile actor. I also have a soft spot for black and white movies. The surreal quality b&w offers is mesmerizing.

and Crispin Glover, and Robert Mitchum, Billy Bob Thornton, amd Iggy Pop (who's character 'Alice' bears a striking resemblence to a certain banjo playing monkey)...........

I love it. It's a damn fine movie.

Not to mention the bonus points for realism of a lawyer not being an accurate shot. :poke:

Berberian Sound Studio and L'Italienne. A most appropriate pairing.

Really looking forward to seeing that. Didn't know it was out on DVD here yet--where/how did you see it?

I was eager to see it as well, the less said the better. Though I thought the narrative structure could have been improved upon, it was a clever concept and an excellent film. I believe any cinephile would enjoy it, particularly (of course) if they're fans of '70s Italian horror.
