Friz Freleng was a genius!

Especially the cartoons with minimalist backgrounds, just sheer genius.

On both counts!

Mike Leigh almost never fails to bore me to tears, but Naked is definitely his masterpiece, and David Thewlis might just as well have quit acting while he was ahead, after that astounding performance.

Yes, I'm Krinkles the Clown on an absinthe a beer bender.

You got a problem with that?

Strange and discomforting work. Could have been written by Mishima (instead of Oshima who, if I am not mistaken, did write it). But if art does not discomfort, or sometimes outrage, why bother?

Some folks may cringe each time I use the term "Booze" regarding these high quality drinks.
I mean no offense. There are bottles of extraordinary booze out there. I've tasted a few. Relax.

I wasn't outraged, just disappointed. I had a similar experience last night with Zabriskie Point. Nice photography, anyway.

Yesterday was the anniversary of MST3K, so last night I got my Tom Servo fix and a Godzilla fix simultaneously, while enjoying some Eddy.

Reservoir Dogs has it moments, but:

Whoa! Oh man, I shot Marvin in the face.
Why the fuck did you do that!
Well, I didn't mean to do it, it was an accident!

Normally, both your asses would be dead as fucking fried chicken, but you happen to pull this shit while I'm in a transitional period so I don't wanna kill you.

You hear me talkin', hillbilly boy? I ain't through with you by a damn sight. I'ma get medieval on your ass.

Oh, man, I will never forgive your ass for this shit. This is some fucked-up repugnant shit.

Oh, I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?

Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead.
