Greetings all.

I hail from Tulsa, OK and rely on the kindness of friends and strangers willing to break OK liquor laws to send me decent, and sometimes indecent, absinthes. By no means an aficionado on the order of most of you I feel I appreciate absinthe and its many charms more than most and am always endeavoring to learn more about what makes this classic spirit so mesmerizing.

Cheers, and I hope to be of some benefit to the board.

Howdy podner.

I must disagree though, and say that liquor laws are not really OK.

Allright, someone within drinking distance. *smile*

I'm just learning cocktails but I have a little better understanding of absinthe.

Welcome to the forum.

I mean no offense. There are bottles of extraordinary booze out there. I've tasted a few. Relax.

8 hours isn't that far, considering how far we've driven to drink with Joe and Jules.

We've all gone quite a distance to drink with friends. You're right though, 8 hours isn't a bad trip...with good company. *smileywinkiehappyfaceforkintheeye*

There are still some friends I've yet to meet.

Until them Cheers!
