I'm trying to figure out the grenade part. :g:

It would do wonders to soften that texture.

I wish I could help you, Bob, but I'm fresh out.

Had to make some Carbonara this evening after watching the No Reservations Rome episode. His reactions were about the same as mine when I was there. Mind blowingly good food.

Indeed, but my favorite food in all of Italy is still the Neopolitan pizza.

Abs, I just don't know about chocolate and strawberries on pizza.

Got a bottle of the Bacon Hot Sauce today, it's not all that hot but it worked well enough on a turkey sandwich. And while on the subject of hot sauce, we now have Green Fairy Absinthe Inferno. Review at bottom half of the page.

I'm thinking a good homemade mac and cheese with bacon, in an omlette. Not that far from Carbonara, just disgustingly American

Bring Home the Bacon!
TV-PG (L)

The five BBQ Pitmaster winners from this season come together to face the most difficult of BBQ challenges: the whole hog on old fashioned cinder block pits. Only one can win the Kingsford Cup, the $100,000 prize and be named BBQ Pitmaster Grand Champion

Screw that. Before they can haul me to a nursing home, I'm hitting the TurBacon and washing it down with all the best booze in the house. I'll die happy and the insurance company can't cancel my policy.
