Almost sounds like a Grateful Dead song....

Early ZZ Top, I think.

No, I was thinking "Mars Hotel," actually. (...shake the hand that shook the hand of PT Barnum and Charlie Chan...)

It's two hours later...wondering if that something is still going on. What was it Sting claimed at some point years ago? 18 grueling hours?

Go get 'em, tiger.

This is the best news I've heard this year! Hell, the best news this decade. I can hardly wait and I know you will have amazing success.

The best of Montana to be sure. Are you going to get the little "Made in Montana" stickers?

Congratulations to all involved. Wow I'm trembling with anticipation, I can see the louche in my mind and taste that wonderful Montana Wormwood.

Where have you been hiding, Gertz? We had our last bottle of Elderflower Mead a few weeks ago and blamed you for not being around to encourage us to make more.

My goodness, can't the kids nowadays not even make some Elderflower Mead on their own without someone to tell them to? Well then, make some more! Because I say so!

As for hiding - well, currently I am hiding in a city out there in the real world called Paris. Yes, the one in France. Going to a drawing course.

Good for you! I remember seeing some of your work posted before.

I have 6 gallons of Raspberry Pyment, 6 gallons of Blackberry pyment and 5 gallons of Chocolate Stout in the bottles so far this year. It's not like I've been sitting on my hands with nothing to do. Along with the real job, you did catch the name of this thread, didn't you? Like my Grannie used to say, "Busy hands are the devil's playground."

She was so right.

Wow, congratulations! As mentioned already, if you need another member for a tasting panel I'm sure I can lend my 'I've only had a few absinthes, I'll tell you how it tastes to a college student who was stuck drinking keystone for 4 years' perspective. Good luck with everything!

Seriously, if I would have known how to home brew when I was in grad school, I would have drank a lot better and a lot cheaper. I would have been much more popular, too!

Easy, fun, (comparatively) cheap and the swill is much better than what the vast majority of grad students are drinking.
