I'm asking!

I'll be in town late in February and wondered if there is any good place in town to purchase our favorite beverage--either a bar/lounge or spirits store. I read something about a Nob Hill Bar & Grill...

I know we have some New Mexicans on board--anyone care to comment?

I don't see it on their drink menu.

But it probably wouldn't hurt to send them an email to make sure.

Jubilation has Kübler, Lucid, and St. George. Kelly's only has Kübler and Lucid. Both just recently started carrying St. Germain too! :yahoo: I don't know about Quarters, and I haven't seen any absinthe in Walgreens or Smith's.

I think the St. Clair restaurant on Rio Grande, just north of Old Town has Kübler, but I haven't been in to check. Geckos, Yanni's and Two Fool's Tavern didn't have any absinthe the last time I was in any of them, but it's been months since I've been. I think Anodyne might have absinthe, and some of the other bars downtown as well, but I never go down there so I don't know.

I've done some research recently. Kübler is now being carried by Walgreens.

Anodyne has St. George, Kübler and Lucid, but they prepare it frappe style with just sugar, water and ice, "because they don't have any drippers". $6 each and they're under diluted, but a glass of ice water will accommodate. I tried St. George again, or as the bartender put it "The same guys who put this out" while pointing to the hangar one vodka collection. It was better than I remembered.
