DUNY's gotta carry it before then, no? :mbanana:

I hope so. Though I gotta admit, getting a bottle of NO from them was about equal to the cost from LdF. At least as domestic it should be more reasonable. Then again, I'm still waiting for my bottle of Del Maguey Tobala Mezcal and El Diamante del Cielo Tequila Anejo from them. :3869-sadbanana:

There is a lot of bang for your buck with these products.

Excellent stuff.

Agreed. Pacifique just became the best value for your money in absinthe at DUNY, IMO.

Man...that is a deal, isn't it! Might have to get another bottle of this sometime down the line before I drain my other one...very tasty indeed!

Indeed. Don't get me wrong, Vieux Carre at $55 gives you a lotta bang for your buck too, but not knowing the SRP of Pacifique ahead of time and having tasted this marvelous absinthe, I really expected it to price out in the $70-$80 range. $65 is a steal.

Lemme tell ya, that girl knows about bang for your buck! Oh yes she does. This should have gone under, "What makes you happy!"

I just got to try the Pacifique tonight for the first time. It's almost as good as Absomphe hypes it up to be.

Seriously though, this is one awesome absinthe. If you haven't pre-ordered yet, get on it!

My god, I'm going to be in first-time-meeting-of-WSers-and-fine-absinthe-producers overload! I wouldn't have it any other way.

I better bring a camera. Maybe even a notebook and/or audio recorder.

Will do. However, I'll kowtow only if knighted. In lieu of a sword I will accept a spoon. I will then wield it to the best of my ability, vanquishing foes sans feu, with a cold, icy drip.

I just caught a 6 o'clock KIRO TV news story about the increase in the liquor tax, during which co-anchor Angela Russell referred to Dry Fly as "the state's only distillery".

Those folks need correctin', methinks. :nono:

Just to share with the fine folks here. In today's Seattle Times business section, there is an article discussing the growth of distilleries here in my home state of Washington. The article prominently mentions our distillery, includes some photos of us, and a video of one of Seattle's top cocktail bars louching up a glass of Pacifique. Here is the link:

It's kinda stupid that they refer to absinthe servings as shots... But at the same time it's sort of a flattering absinthe article, especially with the video; except that in the video the guy pours like 5 servings worth of absinthe and he stirs it before it even louches.
