We're hoping to have it in Washington State liquor stores by Christmas. After that will depend upon other factors.

I'm hoping to have it in my cabinet over here in Sweden by Christmas...

Well, with the thread now moved, it will be easier for me to update. We just bottled the second batch of Voyager Gin yesterday. We took a peek at the tank of absinthe (TANK of absinthe, I just can't get used to saying that) and it's coming along fine. It's been in the tank for over a month so far. Now if we could just get the label doods at the TTB to move along. If you go to the blog at the website, there's a few pics of the first gin bottling, and I hope to add some absinthe shots in the future.

Indeed™.

Congrats on the continuing progress, Zman. It sounds like the absinthe is developing beautifully, and Tish and I are really looking forward to its release!

A new batch of Voyager and a tank of absinthe. I wish that I lived closer just in case you needed some free help.

Like I said several times, the voyager is very nice and I'm so anxious to get a six pack of the absinthe.

Go Zman , Go.

Won't be making it to the stores by Christmas this year. With the speed of the TTB and the WSLCB, I have no clue.

Hopefully by early spring.

We do have about 200 liters that are now aging nicely, and we hope to distill another 200 liters next week sometime.

"Aging"?

Everyone knows that in the modern world there's no opportunity to age absinthe before bringing it to market.

Aren't you just trying to put a good spin on selling people old absinthe, that isn't fresh from the still?

Yes, this young stuff™ I'm drinking right now is fresh, and pretty damned tasty.

Damn, that sounded seriously incriminating, didn't it? :paperbag3:

I went to four WSLCB stores in the Seattle area today, and called an additional three, trying to find Voyager Gin. Even went to the downtown 4th Ave shop (store #101), as well as the nice store on 2nd Ave downtown. Got nothing but blank stares and rude service from the staff.

Sorry, Zman, I tried to pick some up, but it apparently just isn't in the cards yet!

Oh man, sorry to hear you went on a wild goose chase. By your previous post about picking some Voyager up in WA, I figured you knew something I didn't. I spoke to the manager at 101 couple weeks ago, she said they'd put Voyager on order, but didn't expect to have it in until after the new year.

I'm also still waiting for 101 to get Marteau in, but after the recent armageddon death blizzard here, I'm not surprised it's taking awhile.

The staff at 101 is mixed. There's a couple of complete asshats there, but the manager and another couple of folks are pretty decent. Can't all be winners I guess.

Sure there is... it's done on the delivery truck!

For future reference, Voyager is WSLCB Special Order item #973345.

Thanks, GB - I'll pester the folks at the Vancouver state store to get it ordered this week, since that's just across the Interstate Bridge from my home, and much more convenient than driving to Seattle during ARCTIC BLAST '08... or was it LAST BLAST '08, or DEEP FREEZE '08, or WINTER SOLSTICE SNOWFEST '08, or whatever...

(edit: And with this post, I hit #200!)

I'll be stashing back some coins while I wait. Congrats!

What he said.

Knowing this state, I'm sure it'll take awhile before it's easily available, but witrh persistance, it will, doubtless, be a smash hit.

Zman are you able to share who your distributor is and/or how we might go about getting ahold of a bottle of Voyager now and obviously Pacifique when it's eventually available?
