We all know you're kidding, but you may want to tone it down a bit, since people are now accusing us of being thugs and threatening anyone who doesn't subscribe to our line of thinking.

I took that as a theoretical question: "can" means "are we capable ..." rather than "shall we."

Is this a new visual? If so, I am encouraged by the fact that they refer to an "original Czech recipe." Up to now, they have always claimed that the recipe is Swiss.

I agree with your sentiments completely. If I understand Shabba's position, WS is striving to be the source for accurate absinthe information. We can't do that if we resort to childish name calling. That doesn't mean we have to accept a turn-the-other-cheek mentality but rather, make certain our positions are accurate and defensible to a reasonable audience.

This just in, Jessie Jackson wants to cut his nuts off.

Does that count as toning it down?

Childish, schmildish. It's freaking ridiculous what these fools try to pass off as gospel and I refuse to sit quietly in the corner like a good little altar boy and watch it happen.

It's often difficult to restrain the native NYer in me. Plus, I'm 3/4 hot-blooded Sicilian. The 1/8 Irish & 1/8 Dutch don't stand a chance.

I'm a native New Yorker, as well, but no Sicilian, I'm a regular Andrew Dice Clay with a Polish half, so it usually takes a bit more to get my dander up.

As to that 1/8 Irish, the Westies certainly held their own. ;)
