Wrayalien, beyond Earthly bounds

Ray was a crazy, loving, generous man who loved sci-fi, absinthe, off-the-hook music and everything life had to offer. My favorite quotes from Ray are, "Get 'er done!" and "Aimlessly, meandering dumbassity!".
I raise my glass in toast to a true friend. He is missed.

To Wray: Thanks for all the smiles, Man.

I'm stunned. I'm so sorry. My heart goes out to you, and to all of Ray's family and friends.

I had drinks with him last night on the back porch. Tough night.
Tonight, I'll be honored to raise a glass or three with you.
We got to know Ray while he went to school in OKC. He was here quite often and was here with me when I was going through a health issue of my own.
I mean no offense. There are bottles of extraordinary booze out there. I've tasted a few. Relax.

I always looked forward to his posts. Maybe he can post just once more, and let us know if there's absinthe in Heaven.

When the mighty oak fell a tremor passed
through all the rivers of the west.
The tired salmon felt it.
A rare distant voice
entered the summer twilight
while stars danced in the sky.
Hissy and I have you and all who loved Ray in our prayers.

Ray was a true oner, and I'll sorely miss his wonderful, and offbeat perspective, and sense of humor.

I am truly sorry to hear of his passing. I lost my mom to cancer in 81, and understand to some degree the toll it takes.
Please pass on my regards and condolences to his family, and know what he and his family/friends are in our prayers.
