Kruts Karport
Øster Farimagsgade 12
2100 København Ø

This place has been serving their own house-brand of absinthe since the eighties; before that, the owner had another café, also serving absinthe. It may deserve some remote attention for serving absinthe long before the czechs got the idea, and unlike the czech brands, it does contain anise and does louche. Still, it is a rather mediocre drink, more like a fluorescent green, high-octane pastis than a proper absinthe.

Quite a lot of bars in Copenhagen serve absinthe, but the only brands you'll find are Hapsburg and Pernod 68.

Juuls Vinhandel
Værnedamsvej 15
1819 Frederiksberg

One of the very few wine shops that has something besides Hapsburg. They have recently started to stock Un Emile and Roquette.

Another wine shop. They have Mansinthe.

This newly opened place cocktail bar/restaurant could be the beginning of a beautiful new era for the Danish capital, as the owner, a dedicated mixologist, is actually genuinely interested in absinthe. At the moment, the place serves Un Emile, Mansinthe and Twin Tec. The selection of decent brands in Denmark is still poor, but if something finds its way here, there is a fair chance that this place will have it.
