Tempus Fugit Spirits

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure what to make of this.

But I do like this line..

"Tempus Fugit Spirits is pleased to be the Sole U.S. Agent for the finest absinthes produced since the Belle Époque."

Butch, that's marketing. ;)

I suspect that someone has started a importing/wholesale business in Northern California to bring these absinthes into the US. Can you say Duplais Verte on a liquor store shelf? (As well as the other two.) At some point.

I'm not associated with this business, so I can't offer any real information.

I guess I should also add that it appears that authentic absinthe is making it to our shores much faster than the faux absinthe formerly known as Czechsinthe.

Well it won't be on the shelf in this backwards ass state of PA, but

as long as I can mail order I'll be happy. It's nice not having to pay as much

for shipping as I do for the product. Duplais Verte bring it on.

all questions about Tempus Fugit Spirits should be addressed to their site directly.

obviously things are in the works and can not be discussed publicly...yet.

Last night for the hell of it I forwarded the link to DrinkupNY.

They replied today saying they were in contact with them regarding NY distribution.

I figured it couldn't hurt.

We'll see.

That's awesome Butch, they hinted in correspondence to me awhile back that they anticipated adding more absinthes to their lineup soon (and I don't think they were just talking about St. George). Confirmation that they're in touch at least, is gratifying.

Thanks for the intro to that Carroll piece, Hiram!

It inspired me...

No snarkyness was intended

I hope Tempus Fugit was not offended

but upon further perusal

I find myself wishing for quicker TTB approval!

Hell, I didn't even think of it being read that way; it's just that The Rime of the Ancient Mariner always reminds me of The Hunting of the Snark.

I know, it's just that's the first time I've heard of a Snark in the Carroll sense. I have however, heard of snarky, and it sounded good for the rhyme. We're gonna need a bigger boat :arrr:

Checked the Tempus Fugit site this morning and it only has the home page. No links to other pages anymore. This doesn't bode well. I was expecting more info. Not less.

I was just on their site and it seems to be working now.

The links work, thought there is not very much info in any of them.

Maybe some technical difficulties on their part, I had issues hitting

WS site all morning...

The links are there now. I don't know why they were missing this morning. Hmmmmmm

Still waiting to see these hit the shelves. Hoping that it is soon.
