This article is hopelessly out of date.

If anyone is interested in doing the legwork to get the current prices of the most commonly available absinthes in there, please PM me.

I have an Excel spreadsheet which makes it a whole lot easier.

The table is now updated, online and may be seen here.

It's not completely comprehensive, but does have the products you're most likely to encounter. We'd like to make it as complete as possible, so if you find something that's commonly available, feel free to post the info here. We need:

• Brand name
• Lowest price available
• Bottle size
• Link to where you found it.

Nice job Hiram. I love the GoogleDocs option too.

Thanks, and thanks for your help.

It was like Christmas when I found that. It's a live feed from the same doc you and I can edit from Google.

Nice table!

Is there going to be a way that plebs like myself can backtrack to find the lowest priced sources for various brands? I'd also like to see the assumptions made regarding shipping costs.

And with the dollar sucking so badly against the Euro, perhaps some hints for ordering from the various vendors would be useful. For example - assuming shipping to the US - the sweet spot for ordering from Vert d'Absinthe looks to be an order as close as possible to, but not over, 300 Euro. The sweet spot for Alandia seems to be an order weighing in at 9Kg (minus 0.4 Kg for packaging).

There were none. This is strictly based on sales price. Shipping varies entirely too much to try to include that in this model.
