If Rednecks Drank Absinthe

Recommended Posts

Now we just need to get a drill bit small enough to drill some little holes in some KFC sporks, and be got us some sporks for drippin'!

I got your spork right here:

Ironically, I can't find my sugar cubes. I figured the plastic cup was the icing. What fun would the spork be on a *nice* glass? I got it to stay put by heating the tines slightly and bending them back just a smidge. I made the holes by taking a tiny drill bit (1/16") and just pressing and spinning it with my fingertips.

Awesome.

I think once I'm settled in the new place I'm going to try making a draft keg fountain. It would require buying the contents but I already have some friends in mind that can dispose of them for me. It will be excellent for on-the-go louching and cookouts.

I admire the creativity, but, what's in the cup? That's a weird ass louche, but I haven't seen enouggh to really be a judgge of that. The spillage on the side of the cup and your comment about doing that in the bathroom flushes most possibilities.

I think it's the light...between the black of the spork and the white inside of the cup, I think there were some funky reflections from the flash.

Are you telling me that my septic out in the back is not a potential goldmine? Well, the family will be relieved that we longer have to keep the paper out of the product. Always look for the silver lining.

Hell nah! I used to drink Guinness by the boatload during the summers while I was living in Madrid. That's more refreshing than any pee-beer!

 I agree wholeheartedly. I've also found Guiness is great for balancing out when you've had a too few many of a few different things.

Depends on how you drink it. I drink mine at room temperature. That's not as refreshing as a glass of ice water, and that's basically what Bud Light is.

I was suprised at how many Irishmen laughed at me when we were talking about the misconception that the Irish drink their Guinness at room temperature. Not one bar in Ireland that I went to served it as such, including the brewery. Nor any of the Irish pubs in Madrid.

For me it was a matter of necessity. I spent four years in The Marine Corps, and one of the many rules is lance corporals and below can't have more than a six pack in their room (and no hard alcohol at all). Of course that didn't stop any of us from having more. I kept a six pack of beer in my refrigerator, and hid the rest in drawers, closets, under my bed, etc.

That meant drinking a lot of warm beer, and I learned to like it. I think a warm beer has more flavor, and it goes down smoother.
