Greetings!

Recommended Posts

Hello all I just recently joined here and over at the Republic... I'm not a big poster but I am a lurker. I have been curious about absinthe for decades and just recently placed my first order - glasses, spoons, brouille, and a bottle of Doubs Mystique.

Anyway - hope you all are having a great and green Holiday season!

Daniel

I wouldn't know enough to post a credible review....!

Don't be so sure. Use the 'how to do a review' page to find out what you should be looking for. Also, the actual review screen is very helpful if you mouse over the blue info dots for each category.

Don't worry, we won't criticize you. Not yet at least.

Welcome to the forum!

Hi.

I'd be very interested to read your thoughts on Mystique as it's a different style from the anise-bombs most people seem to start with.

Well my initial choice to break myself in was something called "Absinthe Deva 70". The reviews on Alandia were good but I couldn't find any other reviews on Deva 70 (just Deva 50, which weren't glowing) so I decided to go for one that did have more positive comments.

After I try it I will be sure to put my 2 cents worth in! :)
