My answers are pretty much the same, too. I'm drinking much less beer and wine and a few more martinis. I feel much better about it, too.Would be interesting to know who's answer has changed since their last post. My answer is still the same.

You got a problem with that?

No way, Dude! My absinthe consumption has remained consistent. I merely replaced most of the beer and wine with martinis. Good absinthe. Good gin. What are hangovers? What is this, how you say "Absinthe"?

Now I'm drinking cocktails about as often, beer more often, and whisky every single day. I can afford to replace bourbon often so I do, but I drink single malts about like I do absinthe.

To answer your question. I may sip a glass or two a week but I may sip three glasses a night for a few days running. I prefer my absinthe on days that I can relax a bit and enjoy it. The stuff is expensive and like fine drinks or smokes, I feel it should be done when you can appreciate it.
Off the soapbox.

I mean no offense. There are bottles of extraordinary booze out there. I've tasted a few. Relax.

But I kid.
Asides from the copious amounts of Gin and Tonic when I go dancing on the weekends I enjoy a glass or two of Arak when I am writing during the week. When I was working third shift I didn't do much drinking at all, it was very awkward to pour a drink at seven in the morning, blatantly breaking my five o'clock rule.

Dry intermissions are preferrable to dry emissions.
As long as there are no remissions

Usually one or maybe two glasses of absinthe and the rest beer when I drink. This weekend will be an exception as it is a big party weekend at the races.
One of this years bikes and the pilot "Mr Clean".

The only thing I use STP for any more is as an assembly lubricant.

But when I was visiting a friend, I finished a 50cl bottle in a week.
Since those 8 weeks, I haven't had a drop of alcohol, not even Absinthe. However, I am going to a Halloween party and I will bring a bottle of the stuff and probably finish that (with the help of friends) in one night!
