Absinthe CCC

Recommended Posts

It does look like a similar bottle that the P31 samples were sent out. My sample wasn't that small, though. The bottle was similar, but looked like little wine bottle. Longer. I love that little bottle. I'm saving it for special (like Grandma used to say).

Four one hundreths of a liter???

Xit, I couldn't even taste that stuff, and it'd be history.

Too much math. You need to get out more.

Still, I'm curiously waiting for The Marcus Report.

Is it really that green like the picture shows?

CCC was produced by Matter-Luginbühl in July 06.

It's pretty unique and very powerful.

It just comes in miniature pharmacy bottles and won't be available in larger bottles.

I've just ordered 3.

I wanted to add the Balance but it's out of stock

Starting with 72% and going further the green can only get greener :) , that percentage might be the reason that Duplais considered 65% faible, if still green (60% will also produce green, very fragile, though). Chlorophyll does very well in even higher percentages, however the taste might get too much and change a lot irreversibly.

IMHO

3 is a good number. Since I've tried (and enjoyed) the Balance and the Prototype Verte isn't available, it was a grand excuse to try the Helfrich Verte.

Thanks for the scoop, Sir!

I'll give it a try.

Powderful.

There is something about it that reminds me of powder.

Opened nicely with sugar.

Well rounded.

Tasty.

Nice finish.

I'd drink it again.

I'd also toss in a very pleasant mouth-feel, rich and smooth. When Maggie first sipped, she immediately said, N.O.!" and it does have the spicy quality but much more subtle and not nearly as sharp. The flavor lingers for a very lovely long time. Mostly I remember after each sip saying, "Oh yes. That's very nice. Yes, indeed."

Yes, Marcus. I would like a liter bottle, please.

At the price, I couldn't justify ordering them alone. However, if you were just adding a little extra to another order, I'd strongly encourage it. The CCC really is very tasty. I was hoping Marcus would give us the story behind the absinthe. I am curious.
