Oh, heavens yes. Yummy stuff.
Some folks may cringe each time I use the term "Booze" regarding these high quality drinks.
I mean no offense. There are bottles of extraordinary booze out there. I've tasted a few. Relax.

Awesome! I'm almost hesitant to try it, only because im sentimental, and due to its rarity, i want to have some to "collect". ah well.

I love it, and believe it to be Ted's best creation. When I tell people about it, they are skeptical; when they try it, they are quite suprised. It is worth it to have on hand.

Mine was purportedly shipped Monday however "no track found" comes up when clicking on the tracking link. I've emailed the vendor. Looking forward to the Perique, given the cold weather lately and all.

Well, this one is a keeper for the both of us! I don't think it will last until the weekend. That is some good Louisiana infused stuff!

Smells stronger than it tastes. Almost vanilla-orange in taste. Very faint tobacco aroma..very faint. Quite smooth and pleasant on the tongue. No sharp after taste.

Who is the best vendor to get this from? I can't even seem to be able to find the name of the producer.

I figured it'd be better to bump this old thread rather then to make a new one to ask my question. I'm not exactly sure what forum etiquette would call for. Sorry in advance if I picked the wrong option.

Will Perique benefit from aging or is it better to drink it soon?

I've still got several bottles aging from the first release. They be mighty tasty, even now. I don't see that changing for the worse, at least in the near term.

Perique will be on my next order from LdF. I truly enjoy the stuff but it has to be a special day for me to sip it.
Thanks for bumping the thread, now I'm jonesing for a glass of it.

Pick yourself up some Firefly Sweet Tea vodka. It's a good holdover until you can pick up more Perique. And it's even available here in VA now!

I agree.

Perique is unique to me because of the tobacco. I don't smoke cigars, cigarettes or a pipe but I really enjoy the aroma of a good cigar or pipe. Perique allows me to enjoy those qualities. I keep a sealed bottle in the closet. I won't open it unless I have another bottle headed my way. There's an open bottle in there as well but I haven't been good enough lately to sip any. I'm getting better but not very fast.

I forgot about it as well, and was very hesitant, by my bro wanted to try it and T was generous enough to pour a samplin'. Tasty, tasty, tasty. ;)
