I purchased the Strong68 and Gold68 before I read all your suggestions about my next purchase.
Ok: money spent. Can I at least try this stuff and know what "bad" is.
Hell no, even as an impetuous rookie I can tell SWILL. :poop:
I walk away knowing what you all said about Chech Absinth .
What can I do with it now?
I'm afraid even my sink won't drink it.
Well as the saying goes " the hardest learned lessons are the best learned"
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll listen now.

Well, there are several of us, myself included, who collect 'assinthe', just to have torture material. I"m sure you'll find someone who will be happy to take it off of your hands.

Glad to see that you have had your BFO. You'll be very happy with your next order if you refer to the recommended lists on this site.

Edit: For those of you who don't know. BFO = Blinding flash of the obvious.

It might not be much solace but many of us took the same path. Czech Strong Ass-scent was our first step. It gets so much better!

Do you have any floors that need refinishing? Tile that needs to be cleaned? ;)

Learning IS fun though and eventually (quickly) begins to taste real good.

I always use that stuff for cleaning toilets. Works like a charm...not to mention puts that stuff where it belongs.

But think of the poor fish that eventually have to swim with it along with the fertilizers, industrial run off, and other waste that ends up in their water. Actually, they prolly need a drink while their DNA goes haywire.

Two other suggestions:-

1. You could post brand reviews on the site where you bought them from. That might help other people learn from your experience.

2. I used to have that avatar before I saw the light. Maybe now you have seen the light, you could change yours too. :harhar:

As far as investing in pre-ban, is there really that much left? ;)

Your strong 68 is safe with you. Someone may PM you wanting it.

I hate sinking anything, some good may come from it. Can't imagine what. I drank too much Czechsinthe before seeing the light. Don't feel bad. You still have your health and maybe a little money.

Nothing is worthless, it can always be used as a bad example.

What did you have in mind for your next order?
Some folks may cringe each time I use the term "Booze" regarding these high quality drinks.
I mean no offense. There are bottles of extraordinary booze out there. I've tasted a few. Relax.

tblshoot, I second what Alan said about posting reviews where you bought them to try to help keep people away. But I also think you should join Fee Verte, acquaint yourself with the review system and submit some reviews there. Gold68 has only one review and Strong68 has none.

And to think that he only got enough money from the sale of his mother to get one bottle of pre-Ban. Surely, Absomphe's mother is worth more than that! He should have been able to get two bottles.

Alas, Dakini, my mother has been amongst the dearly departed, lo, these 14 long years (Yes, she was well over 200 by then)

Fortunately for me, I sold her remains during the height of the stock market surge of the early 90s, so I got enough to be a case of pre-ban Edouard Pernot 65.
