well, perhaps i got a couple lemons:

not only did they taste bad,

they had a horribly tight pull and 2 of the Nasty had the wrappers unravel a bit.

to be fair, it could have been that they were shipped 'wet' and should've rested longer -
but i couldn't bring myself to put them into my small humidor & taint the other sticks so i smoked them right away.

cigars smell like like burning dogshit and rot your mouth with cancer.

Acid cigars smell like burning dogshit in a headshop and rot your mouth with cancer.

Being overly humidified most likely was the problem. I prefer to keep my humidors around 70-74% humidity and always keep my house around 69-71 degrees. It's best for aging. However, I let my cigar rest for a couple of hours if not 3-4 before lighting.

You should give the Naturals "Dirt Torpedo" a try. If you like the smell of pipe tobacco, you will love this cigar. It is not "perfumey" like the Acid line. It has a slightly sweet tip, pefect draw, is never harsh (I actually inhale it - I know, I know), has a tremendous volume of smoke, and burns down to a nub. The only cigar I have smoked until it burned my fingers and was still smooth.

Never put Acid in your humidor. When I bought my sampler tin several years ago, I made a humidor from another cedar cigar box using gel tubes which keep things perfect. I swear that box to this day smells just like the cigars.

Of course not, why pass on the only good reason to use a sugar cube.

i try to keep mine 70% or under. and while i don't buy cubans cigars, i've read that you should keep them 60-65%.

well, perhaps when i'm feeling frisky i'll give one a try. or maybe not.

i can't STAND the smell of that shit.

it has the fine odor of incense cured in a musty basement, drizzled in B.O. and let rest in an old lady's perfumed underwear drawer.

most non-hippies recognize this and refuse to assault others' olfactory senses and neglect to use it.

hippies on the other hand, think that it covers up the fact that they haven't showered and just smoked weed.
news flash: it doesn't

In Europe, apparently, patchouli isn't a hippie thing, it's a goth thing. I have a hard time with that.

A slightly higher humidity is better for long term storage/aging if you can pull it off without letting the temp get above 70. In the long run it is prolly' marginal at best

ha!

well, they ARE similar, actually.

the goths are goofballs dressing up & pretending that it's over a century ago.

hippies, big surprise, are much lazier....they only dress up & pretend it's 40 years ago.

Goths at least bathe so I prefer them, although in truth I prefer neither.

Hippy girls make me angry, and here's why. In college there was this one hippie girl named Erica who would have been drop dead gorgeous if she took care of herself, which really pissed me off. She was like an Aston Martin that's covered in rust. The girl had hairy armpits, smelled like a wet dog and had lots of dandruff, so I couldn't bring myself to strike up a conversation with her.

Although if I had to choose between listening to Sisters of Mercy or The Grateful Dead, I think I'd rather shove a pencil through my ear drum. Goths do have some good music though. I can't think of ANY good hippie music.

Plus there's the fact that hippies have no sense of judgment and will be friends with anyone, whereas Goths are snobby as fuck and won't follow you home if you give them the time of day.

Goth girls are easy too. Hippy girls believe in free love/open relationship type stuff. Goth girls are insecure and depressed and think you'll like them more if they sleep with you.
It's a win win situation, although once you get under the covers with a hippy girl, you lose unless your sense of smell isn't working.

Yeah, because if it were named "Old Grateful Dead Concert", I'd know to stay the hell away from it. I don't like deceptive advertising.

Yes, but they have two major strikes against them.

They don't shave their pits, and they use Tom's of Maine deodorant.

Yes, I'm Krinkles the Clown on an absinthe a beer bender.
