Brooks Report post Posted May 17, 2006 Two beautiful books showed up at LautrecFest. One was a history of Pernod (in English), by Mme. Delahaye. I didn't get a chance to browse the other book — did Delahaye write that one as well? If the owner would post the two titles, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. B. Grey Boy Report post Posted May 17, 2006 Here's the first book. I don't know if the second book is out yet, it is also from Mme. Delahaye, and it is also very nice.
Derrick Report post Posted May 17, 2006 Thank you both for pointing out the book on Pernod. I've been collecting vintage Pernod items for awhile now and have been wanting to learn more!

Heure Verte Report post Posted May 17, 2006 Pernod history in english is out now for at least a year. The new book from MC Delahaye (out since May) is the second volume of her "Dictionnaire des marques" dedicated to the absinthe brands. This time, Letter C only ! 100 pages about Cusenier, several pages about Combier (from 1800 to today) and a lot of pictures of postcards, posters, objets linked to others famous (and unknown) brands (like Absinthe Cycle - where the labels shows a man on his bicycle) Very interesting and funny but... only in french !
